Legal Committee hosts MoAF officials to discuss Land laws

The Legal Committee at the State Council today hosted officials from the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (MoAF) to add value to its study, “Land Laws of the Sultanate” with new inputs.
  The committee’s twelfth meeting headed by Hon.Issa Said Sulaiman Al Kiyumi, Deputy Head of the Legal Committee was held in the presence of the honourable committee members and the General Secretariat staff. 
It discussed with them several topics related to the study, which included: The challenges facing the Ministry regarding the land sector and the Ministry's proposals related to the development of land laws.
The officials included, Eng. Saleh bin Mohammed Al Abri, Director General of Agricultural Development at the Ministry and Khalfan bin Rashid al Kaabi, Legal Affairs Researcher at the Minister's office.
The Committee also noted the follow-up report on the implementation of the decisions taken at its previous meetings, as well as reviewed its agenda and the adoption of appropriate decisions.
